The political themes were alluded in the hidden form of the the “good” guy being blue, and the “bad” guy being red. I thought it sent the message that Democrats are willing to be diplomatic while Republicans are war hawks. There was also a political poster stating “No We Can’t,” which implied that revolution is the answer. This blatant and indirect symbolism has no place in children’s entertainment.
